What Does a Teal Pumpkin Mean?
You might have seen them on peoples door steps over the past few years, or you might just be hearing about it right now for the first time, but if you’re wondering what a Teal Pumpkin means the answer is simple. With the idea that every child deserves the opportunity to experience the joy and tradition of trick-or-treating on Halloween, the Teal Pumpkin Project has set out to make that dream a reality. With the number of children with peanut allergies more than tripling in the last 10 years alone, there are millions of kids today who have special needs diets. So to help out the kids in your neighborhood, the Teal Pumpkin Project has deployed a number of useful and easy ways to help you keep the holiday traditions alive while also providing a safe and fun treat for ALL the kids in your neighborhood and it all starts with a Teal Pumpkin on your door-step to let passersby know it’s safe to Trick-or-Treat, even if they’ve got a severe food allergy.
